Doug Keith 110 South Washington Street Seattle, WA 98104 (206) 624-5824 Doug Keith's unique talents allow him to combine a career in commercial illustration with one of fine art. His work can be seen in national magazines, posters, and children's books as well as local card stores and galleries. Doug received his formal art training at The Newark School of Fine & Industrial Art in New Jersey. After graduating in 1974, he began to nurture his creative skills working in advertising and illustration for the next ten years. He relocated from New Jersey in 1979 to accept a position with Walter Dorwin Teague Associates in Seattle. In 1983, Doug started his own illustration and design studio in historic Pioneer Square. Among his clients are: SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, The Seattle TIMES, CBS Sports, The Seattle Mariners, Wizards of the Coast, Sasquatch Books, and other publishers. Doug often lectures at local schools concerning his approach to illustration and children's book design. His interests include antique book collecting, mountain biking, playing electric guitar, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
